Description
Designed for buyers who need real floor space that can still be moved, the 20ft expandable folding house folds down to a narrow transport box and unfolds into a 37 m2 living unit. The wings are part of the steel structure, not an add-on, and they are lifted into place with the same crane that sets the unit down. Because the electrical system, the sandwich panels, the windows and the floor are fitted during production, the house is ready to use the moment the wings are locked and the power is connected.
This version has a camouflage leaf pattern printed on the external panels, designed so the unit disappears into woodland, farmland or parkland. It is chosen for hunting and fishing lodges, eco camps, forest schools, nature reserves, military and border posts, and any site where the building should not draw attention. The pattern is part of the panel finish, so it cannot peel like a wrap, and it fades evenly instead of showing patches.
Every unit sits on a galvanised steel frame built from national-standard square tube and bent sections. The top and bottom beams run the full length of the body and continue into the wings through 130 mm galvanised hinges, so the opened floor is level and rigid. Electrostatic powder coating with an anti-corrosion undercoat gives the frame a long service life even in wet or coastal climates.
The envelope uses 950-type EPS colour steel sandwich panels: 50 mm on the roof and inner ceiling, 65 mm on the side, front and rear walls and on the wing roofs, and 50 mm for internal partitions. Glass magnesium board of 18 mm forms the floor across the main body and both wings, giving a rigid, moisture-resistant deck that accepts laminate or PVC finishes.
The unit is delivered wired and lit. A 220 V 50 Hz system feeds flat panel and ceiling lighting, international three-pin and five-pin sockets and single or double switches, with 6 mm2 incoming cable, 4 mm2 to the air-conditioning socket, 2.5 mm2 to general sockets and 1.5 mm2 to lighting. Socket and switch types can be changed to match the standards and certification of the importing country.
